Estimates and Quotes
Our written estimates are valid for 30 days. They reflect the scope of work described, materials specified, and current pricing. If you request changes after the estimate, we'll provide a revised quote before proceeding. Any work not listed in the estimate requires a separate written authorization.
Scope of Work
We perform roofing services—repair, replacement, maintenance—as described in your signed proposal. We may use subcontractors for specialized tasks like sheet metal fabrication or gutter installation. We'll coordinate all crews and ensure the final result meets our standards. Unless stated otherwise, our work does not include structural repairs, skylight replacement, or work on non-roofing components.
Payment Terms
For residential projects, we collect a 20% deposit at contract signing. The balance is due upon completion and your final walkthrough. For commercial roofing, payment terms are net 30 days from invoice date. We accept checks, credit cards, and bank transfers. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge.
Warranties
Our workmanship warranty covers defects in installation for five years from completion. Manufacturer warranties on materials—such as asphalt shingles or self-adhered underlayment—are passed through to you. We'll provide all warranty documentation at project closeout. Warranties are void if repairs are performed by unlicensed contractors or if roof damage results from neglect, storms, or foot traffic after installation.
Liability
We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the contract price for any claim arising from our work. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including rot, decay, or water intrusion not disclosed during our initial inspection. We will document existing damage in our estimate photos.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us in writing within 30 days. We'll schedule a site visit to assess the issue. If we can't resolve it, both parties agree to mediation in Contra Costa County before pursuing legal action. This keeps costs down and gets roofs fixed faster.

We may update these terms periodically. The latest version will always appear on this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes means you accept the revised terms.
